Found these time lapse videos demonstrating why every serious artist/designer should be drawing with a Wacom tablet and pen. Go Media’s Jeff Finley demonstrates how. Granted, there’s a big difference in watching a guy draw and doing it yourself. It’s obvious Jeff  has some serious drawing/inking skills, but I think it’s pretty helpful to virtually peer over his shoulder as he’s working.

Who knows? It might inspire you to try to ink your next illustration instead of scanning it in from a book. I’ll  show you mine if you show me yours. While you’re at it, you can check out their site for some cool brushes and vector art. Once you’re done, you can jump into Adobe Illustrator CS4 and turn your drawings into vector art.
