Create photographic-type prints with only sun and water using this Sunprint Kit. To create an image, place a leaf, flower or another object on the special paper and set it in the sun for a few minutes. Then “develop” the image by rinsing it in water. Watch as your image appears as a white “print” on the blue paper. This image is permanent and can be hung on a wall, made into a note card or used however you wish.

To prevent fading, it’s best to avoid direct sunlight. Sunprint paper was developed in 1975 to support educational programs at the Lawrence Hall of Science (LHS), a public science center at the University of California at Berkeley. LHS is a hands-on learning center for all ages, named in honor of Ernest O. Lawrence, UC’s first Nobel laureate.
