I saw this tool on the DIY program, Cool Tools, with host Chris Cundy. The Black & Decker Gecko Grip with Accu level makes it a snap to hang pictures thanks to the ingenious sliding Accu Mark targets that slide along the center rail. These marks help you hang pictures and shelves with built-in wall mounts or preset hang holes; just line up the marks with the mounts on the back of your pictures, then place the level against the wall and note the spots with a pencil. Using this technique, it’s a cinch to hang heavy mirrors and large portraits, long shelves and big paintings.
